The Guildfordians Women’s team, formed in 2023, is now in its third season (2025–26) and competing as a collaboration team with Cranfordians Women. The combined squad is playing in the NC3 league and has made an incredible start to the season—winning the majority of their games so far!
There are also fantastic opportunities for players in the U23 age group to take part in Surrey Rugby’s seasonal tournaments, held during the Winter and Easter holidays. These events are perfect for players returning from university who want to reconnect with their club, as well as for new players keen to meet others in their age group and experience competitive rugby.
Girls’ and women’s rugby has been one of the fastest-growing female sports since 2013, and its popularity continues to rise—driven by the ongoing success of the England Women’s team, the Red Roses. Following their World Cup victory this autumn, the momentum behind the women’s game is stronger than ever.
If you’ve been thinking about giving rugby a try, there’s never been a more exciting time to get involved!
if you are aged 17 or over and are interested in playing please get in touch, we look forward to meeting you.
