The Boys section at Guildfordians is for boys aged 11 years or older and is the transition from Minis’ rugby to Men's rugby, we also have a very successful Girls section..
Guildfordians provide the perfect pathway to learn rugby through the RFU Age Grade Framework, supported by our RFU Qualified Coaches, our Men's Coaches and Players. The section currently consists of age groups from under 12’s to under Colts.
A child’s age group is determined by their age at midnight on 31st August so, for example, a 11 year old child whose birthday is on August 1st would enter the Under 12s (U12s).
RFU Age Grade ProgressionWe train Sunday mornings on Stoke Park from 10:00 to 12:00, most age groups also train one evening during the week on local floodlit 4G pitches.
We provide a safe and enjoyable environment to help develop players. Our focus as coaches is to develop players to be better next week than they were in the previous week, to be part of a team, have fun and enjoy rugby.
The club upholds the RFU core values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.Guildfordians cater for players of all ability levels, from experienced players to players just being introduced to the game. Every player is important us so why not come and join us on Stoke Park on a Sunday morning to experience some more.
We offer all new players 3 free taster sessions so that they can decide if they would like to play rugby.
Our ambition is to play an attractive, competitive brand of rugby that is enjoyed by players coaches and parents.
