When & Where: Wednesday 8th May 18:15 – 19:30 , Stoke Park

Who: Boys & Girls who will be in the Junior section next year (U9 – U16 inclusive), suitable for all levels of ability.

Why: This is an excellent opportunity for current & new players to improve fitness & develop skills like ball handling, attack & defence strategies (timing, shape, line speed etc) & support play.

What: Touch is played in smaller mixed teams, enabling everyone to be active & involved in games. Junior sessions typically cover fitness/conditioning, drills & mini games, Touch matches & a fun game to close.

Next: In September, Junior Touch Rugby will continue Sunday mornings for those less keen on full contact, or returning from injury to maintain fitness & skills.

With the end of season comes of course a club social highlight, the End of Season Dinner. This year on Saturday 1 June at Weybourne House, Guildford. Its a black tie event and starts at 7pm.

Congratulations to the U18’s Girls who won 80 to 29 against Wimbledon RFC to secure their place in the Surrey Cup Final on April 25th at The Stoop. They will be joining the U16’s Girls, also playing their final at The Stoop on April 24th.

This year’s season has been noted for its wet weather but a little rain on the morning of the 10th March did little to dampen the excitement as Guildfordians Rugby Football Cub welcomed over 1000 children from around the south of England to their Minis Rugby Festival at the Stoke Park, Guildford ground....
