Guildfordians News | Guildfordians at London Society of RFU Referees Annual Dinner

Congratulations to three Guildfordians, Kelvin, Richard and Tobias, who each received an engraved tankard at the London Society of RFU Referees annual dinner last month, commemorating refereeing over 50 rugby matches last season. Together with the three other regular, LSRFUR referees, Matthew Wynde, Rob Randall and Anthony Makepeace, Guildfordians cover considerably more games in the LSRFUR SW Region than any other club. Given that the LSRFUR is the largest Rugby Referee Society in the World, and the SW Region is the largest region within the LSRFUR, I think we can say that Guildfordians RFC members probably referee more Rugby matches than any other club in the World. We need to get The Guinness Book of Records on the case!
