News | First Aid Course Saturday 18th June 2022

We are holding another accredited First Aid Course which takes between 5 and 6 hours and is valid for 3 years on Saturday 18th June 2022. The Course will be held at the club house and will be instructed by me.

The aim is to have at least 1 RFU qualified first aider in each team in addition to the existing first aiders we have.

The cost of the course will be covered by the club.

The EFARU course provides learners with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to give care and manage minor injuries and illness and potentially life threatening conditions specifically focusing on those occurring in a rugby environment. The EFARU course sits on the national qualification framework and is recognised as an equivalent to the Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and is transferable into the work place. The course includes extra rugby specific elements and is designed for coaches, referees and volunteers.

Pre-Requisites

All Required
Must be at least 16 years old on event start date
Qualification: RFU Headcase
