Primary schools touch Rugby event

Thursday 16th Oct 25

Guildfordian Rugby hosted a wonderful Primary schools touch event at Stoke Park ,Rugby in the heart of Guildford.
There were players from 9 primary schools attending the event,playing in a number of matches in the winter sun.
Well done Graham Sampson for organising and the coaches from the club for helping.

About Our Men's Teams

Preseason Training starts at Stoke Park on Tuesday 14th July from 7pm, everyone is welcome - its a great way to prepare for the season head.

Autumn Training starts on Tuesday evenings at George Abbott School from 7pm, from Tuesday 8th September. New players are more than welcome and can contact either the Men’s Chair (Rob Haggart) or the 1XV Captain (Matt Kipping).

We are a vibrant club playing Rugby in Guildford, and we encourage you to join us. If men’s rugby is your aim, we are the club for you. We play competitive rugby with a highly social spirit.

The club runs a 1st and 2nd XV (when we can) in the Surrey leagues as part of a single squad. Our primary focus has always been to enjoy our rugby in a social environment whilst always trying to improve where we can. Training once a week is unlikely to earn any of us a call up to the Lions, but we are fortunate to benefit from having a group of coaches who work to make sure that players of every experience level, from complete beginners to grizzled veterans, benefit and enjoy each session.

For those players interested in improving their fitness, the club also runs some strength and conditioning sessions.
