The Men's senior Christmas social, going around 12 pubs in Guildford starting and finishing in the Tup, takes place on the 13th of December. It is usually done as a round of pub golf with Christmas jumpers, scorecards and a winner. This year it is going to be slightly different with the competition being split in two, with alcohol and non-alcohol courses. They are the same holes but different drinks. As ever, there is the more social version where people can visit as many or as few holes as they wish and just spectate and discuss stroke play with other Guildfordians. This year the event is open to all sections of the club to participate, however, this is a strictly over 18s event.
