Thursday 11th Jan 24Hi,
The clubs associated with The Pavilion, Stoke Park, Guildford, are getting together to save some lives.
How?
We are calling men over 45 to attend a PSA Prostate Cancer blood testing event at The Pavilion, London Road, GU1 1TU on Saturday, 13th January between 10.30 and 2.30.
Why?
A man dies of Prostate Cancer every 45 minutes in the UK. The scandal is, it doesn’t have to be that way. If detected early (often no early symptoms) it is over 90% curable or treatable, caught late, the reverse. We supplement the free GP available testing which unfortunately is often not offered even when requested and is only available to men over 50.
Remember
You probably have family members, friends, work colleagues or others who mean something to you and your family. Get them to attend and you may well save their life.
The event is offering tests to men who are able to book an appointment by visiting CTS.mypsatests.org.uk and selecting the Pavilion event page. All details are there. The £20 fee merely covers our costs. Booking online saves time as the process takes a few minutes to register and book. Print and bring your form. This identifies your blood sample.
The test is a simple blood test taking a few minutes and the staff are all fully trained and insured. The samples are sent to a local laboratory and processed and then sent to our colleagues who oversee results and send them out by either email or post, depending upon the choice given.
So book via
