Mens Ready 4Rugby tournament
Saturday 29th May 21Our seniors were back in action on 24 April, finishing as runners up in a Ready4Rugby tournament hosted by Weybridge Vandals.
Twelve teams took part including two from Guildfordians, with the tournament structured as a round robin between two pools of six and the top two from each pool progressing to the semi-finals.
One of the Guildfordians sides finished the day runners up, losing a hard fought final 3-1 to the Bank of England team, after group stage wins versus two Vandals sides and Lightwater, followed by a semi-final victory over Richmond.
The other Guildfordians side exited at the group stage despite well-earned wins against a third Vandals side and Met Police.
