Calling all parents and guardians, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbours and friends!
Are you looking for a new way to get active and have fun?
Have you always wanted to give team sport a go but thought it was too late?
Would you like to improve your fitness but thought your playing days were over?
If so, walking rugby may be the opportunity you have been looking for.
With warmer weather on the horizon, the bar open for a post match de-brief, what better time than now to get involved on the pitch to compliment the support you currently give from the sidelines.
Walking Rugby is a non contact version of our sport, with mixed teams. Originally designed as a game for those aged 50+, true to Guildfordians’ ethos, we welcome adults of all ages. Our current squad ranges from mid 20s to 70+.
No previous experience of rugby is required, all you need is a pair of trainers and a natural bias towards having fun! Come along on your own or bring a friend.
We play throughout the year and run 2 sessions a week, Sundays at Stoke Park from midday (11am from June to August) and Tuesday evenings in Chiddingfold from 19:00. We would love to welcome you to either or both sessions as fits in with your availability. There is no commitment to turn up each and every week, but be warned, it is addictive!
If you would like to find out more, please contact either Mark or Sue.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
