Good News, Rugby will be resuming week commencing 29th March
Adult Touch Rugby
restarts Monday 29th March at Stoke Park, this will also be on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Restarts Tuesday 30th March on the George Abbot School astro.
Youth & Girls Rugby
(where applicable check with age group) mid week training restarts Tuesday 30th March. If you were doing mid week training before lock down then it should resume. Your age group coach will send you details of times and venues
Girls, Youth & Mini Rugby
restarts Sunday 4th April at Stoke Park, start times to follow.

No Rugby Sunday 20th December due to new Tier 4 restrictions

Following the announcement from the government on Saturday about the majority of Surrey moving into Tier 4 we have been advised to cancel rugby on Sunday 20th December.
We apologise for the short notice.
Senior and Touch rugby are due to restart week commencing the 4th January 2021 ( details to follow ).
Sunday rugby is due to return on the 10th January 2021, mid week training for youth age groups should restart early in January please keep an eye for communications from your age group.
Rugby is back

We are delighted to confirm that, following the Government announcements about the end of the recent lockdown in England and the RFU detailed guidance received in the last couple of days, we can get back onto the rugby pitch and into the training sessions. It has been confirmed that we are moving to Stage E, which also permits contact and a move to an adapted 15-a-side game for seniors, with competitive fixtures.

The final details of regular activities by section will be communicated by the section leadership and head coaches over the next couple of days. (The Christmas close date for the Juniors is yet to be confirmed.)
Rugby Suspended Due to Lockdown

England is now in national lockdown until Wednesday 2 December and all team sports have been suspended, including club age grade and adult rugby activities below Championship and Premier 15s.
With effect from today (Thursday), we return to Stage A on the Return to Community Rugby Roadmap. This means that no competitive or formal rugby activities can be undertaken until at least Wednesday 2 December. While group training sessions are banned, a maximum of two players (or one player and one coach) can participate in socially distanced (two metres plus), individual training sessions in a public outside space, but not a garden, without sharing equipment. Therefore all rugby at Guildfordians is suspended until the 2nd December following the guidelines, please keep safe and well an d we look forward to seeing you again in December.
